Grade promotion in Jujutsu: Zero should be treated as a checklist, not as a vague instruction to grind. Exact promotion thresholds are live-game data and may change during Beta. The safe method is to read the current requirement, test its counter, and work on one missing condition at a time.
Read the requirement literally
Find the grade or promotion interface and record every incomplete line. Pay attention to wording about a target, activity, difficulty, count, item, or currency. Similar content may not qualify. If the panel names a particular activity, do not assume any enemy of the same type advances it.
Take a screenshot for your own reference when a requirement is long. This prevents the common mistake of leaving the NPC, completing several runs, and returning to discover that the quest was not accepted or the wrong variant was used.
Test one completion before farming
Complete the smallest possible qualifying action, then check the counter. If it moved, you have verified the route for the current server and patch. If it did not, stop. Recheck whether the promotion task was active, whether the correct enemy or difficulty was selected, and whether a party member received the final credit.
This one-run test is especially valuable in a live Beta. It protects you when an older video or community page describes a requirement that has since moved.
Order the conditions intelligently
Start with requirements that also improve your account. Experience, technique practice, and currency collection can often happen while you complete combat conditions. Leave a pure spending requirement until you know the exact live cost, so you do not use the needed resource on rolls or crates first.
If one condition requires harder content, prepare through the easier conditions before attempting it. The earlier tasks can fund equipment and teach your rotation. Promotion is faster when every step increases the chance of completing the next one.
Prepare for a promotion fight
Use a familiar technique rather than an untested rarity. Equip gear that addresses the encounter you are actually failing. Practice a short confirm, a safe disengage, and a defensive response. Long showcase combos are less valuable than a sequence you can execute while the target moves.
For group content, agree on who controls enemies and who saves damage for a vulnerable window. If credit rules are unclear, verify them with a single run before organizing a long farm.
Common promotion stalls
Counter stays at zero
The task may be inactive, the target may be wrong, or the difficulty may not qualify. Re-open the panel immediately.
Currency is short
Return to a stable quest loop and stop discretionary rolls until the displayed promotion cost is covered.
Final encounter fails
Improve one weak gear slot, rehearse defense, and use consumable or cooldown resources only in planned windows.
Guide disagrees with game
The live interface wins. Record the changed wording and treat older thresholds as obsolete.
Do not invent missing thresholds
The official Roblox listing confirms the current Awakened Limitless update, Beta status, and major features, but it does not publish a complete table of grade thresholds. For that reason, this guide does not present community numbers as official facts. Exact counts displayed in your server are the values to follow.
If you share a requirement with other players, include the observation date and visible patch context. A useful report says what the live panel displayed and whether the counter advanced; a bare number without that context can mislead the next player.
Promotion-day checklist
- Accept or activate the live promotion task.
- Copy every incomplete requirement.
- Test one qualifying action and confirm counter movement.
- Reserve the displayed currency or item cost.
- Finish the conditions that also provide levels first.
- Prepare a controlled loadout for the hardest encounter.
- Re-open the panel before the final turn-in.
Use the leveling guide when experience is the bottleneck, the currency guide when a cost is blocking you, and the gear guide when survival is the issue.
